Video editting

Aggy and I just got a Sony Dig vid camera, and curious what kinda software is good to make and edit videos with ?

I am downling Adobe CS3 to try out.

any suggestions ?

SO many sections .. i was confused on where to put it. It isnt' a computer question, as I am asking about software for a Dig Vid camera to try out. and there isn't any section for that yet.

I don't know much about video editing, but so long as its Adobe Premier Pro CS3, you should be ok. Adobe Photoshop CS3 is only good for stills.

EDIT: If you have Vista, you can use the built in one called Windows Movie Maker. Never tried it, but I am sure it isn't all that feature rich.

there is a program called Jahshaka, on sourceforge.net

Completly free. Comes tutorials as well.

XP SP2 also has Windows MOvie Maker, good for the starter outer.
