Does anyone know why EI is making us file cards this Tuesday instead of Friday which is our normal day?

It takes time for the paperwork to go through and Christmas is on a Tuesday, which is usually EI payday. They are probably bumping everyone up so the people who would be paid on Christmas day can be paid Christmas Eve and not be delayed.

they would not change everyones dates for that whome they would only change it for the people who are normally paid on that day but thanks for the idea. i am not sure what you meant by the paperwork but you file on fri and it is processed sunday night

Hubby is also on EI. This friday coming up he files on time but the following check falls on the first which is new years so that one he has to file it early due to the holiday. Normaly when its a holiday it is ussually a day or so late but this time it will be early.
