Hi there, Mikey M's wife here.....

I'd love some new slow cooker recipes. I've tried roast beefs and soups in it, but would like to try some new things. I absolutely love my slow cooker especially working full time, it helps so much. If anyone has any great ideas, let me know!

You can make great chili in a slow cooker
brown your meat, add beans, tomatoes, peppers and seasonings..........voila

Also just a plain spag sauce, when you get home all you have to do is make pasta and a salad.

I like Slow cooker meals too!!

Here is my Fav

BBQ Roast Beef on a Bun

First - Cook the Roast 3/4 through
no seasoning just cook

2nd - take it out and let it cool, the longer the better put it in the fridge for an hour or so if your in a hurry. This is so you can slice it easier

3rd - Slice it into thin slices doesn't matter if it breaks up just slice it up

4th - get a bottle of your favourite BBQ sauce, I kinda like the PC brand not too spicy but it's up to you.

5th - put it all back in the slow cooker and let it cook the longer the better. Add BBQ sause liberally but don't over do it. Get it nice and saucy

6th - get fresh buns, not frozen, good buns are important. Use the sausage buns or mini sub buns. Frozen buns just don't cut it for me.

7 Add meat to buns, like a sub

OMG - you won't believe your such a good cook

enjoy

Ribs - just cut them into 4-5 rib slabs to fit the cooker, dump in a bottle of your favourite (or even cheapest) bbq sauce and put them on low for the day. Awsome.
