I was just watching a documentary ....so the question is what's more important ...money and security or love? when choosing a partner.

I guess the question was more like ....is it easier to fall in love someone with money than someone who is poor? Thats what the program was about..and if so is it real love then or just love of money

I would say a combination of the above. From a man's point of view, its always nice to know that if something happens to you, that your wife can pitch in and help. I would say its mostly love.

You're the one watching the documentary. What did it say?

Great Sex is a must for anyone and Money is the other in which 90% of ppl don't have both, so frig marriage and just go get both of what 90% want the most out of life.

Depends if your a materialistic type or not, some can be happy with money alone and don't care about love.
Others can't do without love and could care less about money.
To each, their own..

I agree - love is the most important. You can lose the money in the blink of a heartbeat - then what do you have to sustain you? Nada...just emptiness.

I would think that having the whole package would be wonderful but reality kicks in right?

So after 22 years with my hubby, I'd have to say love comes first because we had no money and certainly no security. We started with just each other and great chemistry..... /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Years later, we still haven't made our millions but enjoy each others company more and more. It hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows but love pulled us through. We actually work together as well so we're almost 24/7 with each other and no boredom.

I personally think those who lack the love in a relationship are being cheated out of what really makes your world go round.

Well Ideally I want to say love but financial security is something I have only ever been able to get on my own. If I am secure with myself and my money then I might be able to relax enough to consider the whole love thing. I don't need to be rich by any means but I do not ever want to rely on others cause I don't think it works for me.

Oh romeo where for art thou???!!!! LOL

not necessarily, MONEY is all you need to survive and live
marriage and all that is just confusion.
