Im wanting to upgrade my system, but ive been out of the game for awhile.. keeping a budget about 5-6 what would be your best bet for a motherboard/processor/vid card option? im upgrading from agp, 2ghz 64 amd processor.

loyal or not, if you buy locally, you wont get anywhere near as good of prices, except maybe on certain vid cards at futureshop

this is true... it just depends what you're liiking for.. most local places only carry low to midrange type stuff... its extremely hard to find performance parts around here. (IMO)

Yup, better off ordering online. But you could always go get that "top-of-the-line" X1950XTX @ Future Shop for $600! I think that card has been on the shelf since they opened the doors there. lol

LOL i saw that too... although if i do shop anywhere locally for vid cards, FS is where i go, they do occaisionally have some really good deals on stuff, and now is the time to look, because they're having their january "liquidation" sale.

You can't even get certain hardware in town. Tell me one place in town you can go an buy RAM of a good manufacturer, a motherboard or CPU? No where that's where.
