here is the one that i use in the microwave:

1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1tbs. white vinegar
1 tbsp baking soda
line a 8 inch square dish with oiled foil. combine sugar, syrup and vinegar in a large deep bowl, cover with pierced plastic wrap and cook on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring fequently to dissolve the sugar. uncover and cook a further 4 to 10 minutes on HIGH or until the mixture reaches 300 degrees F on a sugar thermometer or until a small amount of the lmixture forms brittle threads when dropped in cold water. Quickly add the baking soda and stir well. the mixture will foam when the soda is added. pour into prepared dish and leave until firm. turn out of pan and break into pieces. for an added touch, melt chocolate in microwave and dip pieces into warm chocolate and let cool until hardened.
