where is a close by lake that is safe right now that i am garanteed to catch fish, is not to far (like lower island lake)
and whats in it

my wife is dyibng to go ice fisheing as she has never gone.

question 2

where can i go fishing for sturgeon and havea really good chance of getting one that is fairly easy access , my wife and i really want to go sturgeon fishing, or even really big pike or muskie...

anyhelp would be super great thanks all

the cosway at pine island is usually pretty safe. havent been out that way at all. lotsa perch and rock bass. get pike out of there to.

as for sturgeon, i personally have never heard of anyone pulling them thru the ice.. your gunna need a BIG @SS hole, so bring a chainsaw. but i hear there are quite a few in rock lake.(never seen one there, just hear about them)

haha not ice fishing for sturgeon, guess i should have specified, i emant for spring/summer, need that amount of time to save for heavy duty equiptment lol

Anyone been out to Neebish or Pine Island for Perch and Pike. Looking for an update on the ice conditions.
