I’m a bit disappointed that this recipe section is not used very often, Lets try to boost it along before we lose it, how about giving a few of you favorite hints and tips.
One item I can’t do with out in my kitchen is powdered Chicken Soup base, I use it in every savory dish I cook, reduce the salt called for and use the soup base it adds a lot of flavor, I keep some in a shaker to sprinkle over things such as Mac and cheese before baking
Really improves mashed potatoes
Gives a cream sauce a boost
Add to breadcrumbs
Improves any gravy
And of course great for soup.
