Chocolate Covered Frozen Bananas

6 ripe bananas
2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips or chocolate melts
Popsicle sticks
Wax paper (enough to cover the tray) and
1 large tray

Optional: nuts, candy sprinkles, M&M's and coconut

Peel the bananas and cut them in half or quarters for the large ones.

Insert the popsicle stick into the flat end of the banana and lay it on the wax paper.

Freeze for two-three hours.

Melt the chocolate in a glass bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds and stir,
continue to melt the chocolate for another 10-20 seconds until it's very soft.

Dip the bananas into the chocolate, use a knife or spatula to coat.

Quickly sprinkle your choice of topping (nuts, coconut, candy or M&M's), the chocolate will firm very quickly.

Wrap each banana individually in plastic wrap and store in the freezer.
