anyone else crave ice?

i have heard that if you really crave chewing ice that you are lacking in iron i believe this to be true, as it has happened to me before. now it is happening again.

what i am wondering is: if anyone else chews ice,does it taste like your gums are bleeding; but they arent? very wierd and i wonder what it means.

I chewed a lot of ice at the end of my first pregnancy, so I guess it makes sense that it would be a lack of iron. I never had the bleeding gums feeling that I can recall though.

I ate ice like it was going out of style during my second pregnancy. My older son thought it was a new food group lol. And yes i did have an iron defiency and that is why i chewed it like that.

all three of my pragnacys I chewed ICE more so with my daughter as it also helped me subside the puking.. BUt I chewed it like it was going outa style... LOTS day in and day out.. ID get up in the middle of the night and chew 3 or 4 cubes.. it drove my huband up the wall... MY last pregnacy I ended up I cracked one of my tooths... as for bleeding gums.. NEVER experinced it.. to chew the ice was like chewing really really cold cold water..

as much as this may sound really silly but MY favorite ice is ICEmans ICE to chew.. IT Was always Really cold.. LMAO as silly as that sounds.. even still I crave ICE from ice man....

actually, thats not silly at all, i sure have my favorite ices. some have a different texture of something, i like a softer ice.
