My 2 yr old son has been telling me all morning "It's ok Mommy, nothing hurt you, not the train, not bus, not truck, nothing hurt you" while he rubs my arm. I was sick and in a lot of pain yesterday from a gallstone attack and still sore today and now having my 2 yr old trying to help me and make me feel better.

1/2 hr before his nap he again told me that nothing is going to hurt me and then climbed onto my lap to hug me while saying "My best friend".

Made my day so much better, had to share since it made me smile.

Oh and leave any negative comments out of this thread please.

I suffered from them for almost a year. So bad that I would have called an ambulance, thinking I was dying, if I could have made it across the floor to a phone. I was told it was "Elective Surgery" and I'd have to wait for my operation as it was non-life threatening.
My doctor and Nurse saved me. They explained how gallstone attacks were from the foods I ate and how to avoid them.
After a few experimentations I realized they were right and followed the diet "Cheryle" the nurse outlined for me.

Cut out the sugars and fat!
No more gallstone attacks.
8 Months pain free until I had my surgery.

Aamzing ain't it!
I listened to my health care professionals!

I had gallstones when I was pregnant. I had it so but that I could not eat anything or I would have an attract. So I had to have to surgery. I understand what you are going throw. But it sounds like you have a great son.

I found out only a few days before I found out I was pregnant with my daughter that I had a few small stones in my gallbladder. We were hoping things stayed settled throughout my pregnancy because my doctor wanted to avoid surgery during my pregnancy. I had a bad attack the day I had a cerclage put in my cervix, thank god I was in the hospital at the time and the nurse I had knew exactly what I was going through and what would help me. I had only a few very minor attacks throughout the rest of my pregnancy and didn't have any after until this past month.

Over the past month I have been having them every other day and yesterday was the worst I have ever had. I have to get a hold of my doctor tomorrow since he wasn't in today and we'll see what he has to say.

I certainly wasn't expecting my 2 yr old to come out and tell me that this morning but I'm glad he did.
