I will pm you or talk at you on the phone Barry about that question,and for good reason.I seldom posted a comment on the religion section,but have enjoyed reading others (opinions)and WE must remember thats all they are when it comes to Religion.Some were more compelling than others mind you.I was always looking i guess for that proof,there is a living god,you know the one and only one,it just seems each religion has there own god.Some as i say,presented strong arguments,but lacked that final knock out punch or proof.

I cannot speak for Werner but he is my pastor and I can say that he has been tied up with more important things than discussion on this board. It seems that no matter how hard he tried to have a civil discussion that would benefit all readers, there are those on this board who seem to want nothing more than controversy and arguments. Controversy and arguments have their place but their place but their place is not in every single thread which seems to happen no matter what the subject is being discussed.

This is not what Werner has expressed to me but what I have observed myself. Since he and others have left (including myself) I have been checking in from time to time and have observed that the Religion section is now dominated by two posters who continue to engage in schoolyard arguments that don't benefit anyone.

I don't blame Werner for leaving and to be honest, I have better things to do with my time as well.

To those who only want to win arguments and put each other down I say this: Grow up! there is a world around you dying in their sins and your silly p*ssing contests aren't drawing anyone to Christ. Give it a rest already.

I have attended three funerals in the last month and have another one to attend to this week. When you think about eternity and have an eternal perspective, none of your arguements about Darby or prayers to the saints mean anything. people are dying all around us and they aren't on death beds. Don't wait until people are on death beds to care. We need to care now. Now is the time!

If you can't use this board to do that then you are wasting your time. Visit the sick, visit the infirm, visit those in prison, pray with those who are ill. That's all I have to say.
