It's been released for about 1.5 years and is still nearly impossible to find in stock. And, regular shipments are still constantly going to all stores. I realize that's not an opinion, but it still says something.
And now an opinion... Lots of great games, some simplistic but fun, others full of challenges, co-op and single player fun, as well as many multiplayer games. Super Mario Galaxy is beyond amazing, and the same goes for Smash Bros.

agreed, but I find FPS and such suck a bit on it and i know others that think the same. I would still reccomend it for sure though

It's a kids or family type system and games library.
Won't satisfy any hardcore gamer(s) who want shoot em up blow em up type games.
My son loves his, and I enjoy some games too, like sports, bowling, boxing, some shooter games as the wiimote can be used like a gun.

Yeah, very different from those of the 360 for sure. However, Co-op campaign in Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles...kick [censored]! And Ghost Squad, short but very sweet. And of course, there's the recently re-released House of the Dead 2/3 combo. Brutal visuals, cheesy voice acting, pure fun.

I have a Wii and I love it. I'll agree that shooting games and other hard core games are not really good on the Wii but the system and the games selection is excellent. The Wii is a very family oriented system.

Medal of Honor and Call of Duty are horrible on the Wii. Actually, Call of Duty 3 sucks on every system.
Outside of Mario & SSBB, Geometry Wars Galaxies is my next top title.

danx!! i just think its more fun to play the older systems, SNES, GENESIS and even nintendo. i miss that, playing the simpleness of the games and all, i miss having a sega genesis the most, i think genesis is better then nintendo. and especially with all this computer age now days, i want to get away from it abit.

You can play all of the NES, SNES, Genesis and such on the Wii, with it's Virtual Console or an Emulator disk (modded Wii)

I have 1 DVD for my Wii that has 788 SNES games, and another than has 856 NES games. There's a few Genesis compilations out there as well but I never really liked the system so I haven't downloaded that yet.
