well when I had my 92 4x4 4.0L ranger it would suck back about 150 a month.....the 02 DOHC 3.0L taurus was good though, probalby 80 a month

now I got a new truck, a 02 FX4 4x4 S/cab f150....just put 55 dollars across the river on thurs. at 3/8 a tank, so we shall see how it does....although it should be the same as T-pot's since it is the same truck! /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

If you want a car that's great on gas .... IMPORT IMPORT IMPORT!!!!

Screw Ford, Dodge, Chevy, and all others. Honda, Acura, Toyota, Mitsubihsi .... GREAT makes.

Domestic is crap. They break down every few years and then go kaput before a decade. I men Honda's dont get GREAT until they're atleast 15 years old lol

At least domestics are cheap to fix, imports have expensive parts.

I would normally gas up once every four weeks across the river for about $50-$60US with my Dodge Transport, but I got a new van about a month ago (I think it's a Nissan something or other), and it seems to be harder on fuel. I think I'm filling it every 2 weeks now. My hubby was driving a little beater car, very good on gas, but now he drives the Transport. I guess all in all, maybe $150-$200 for both vehicles?

I am not a fan of the short box.. I like the long box.. atleast you can haul a half decent load. real men drive real trucks that are made with steal body pannels and a cast iron bumber... not plastic barbie trucks

Here's my "dirty diesel" at the moment. It gets about 5 miles per gallon and I go through about 8000 litres a month. At $1.02/litre for diesel at the commercial cardlock, my company spends $8160/month just for my runs. Fleet-wide, my company spends about $2.5 million per month in fuel just to bring you your gas.
