Thanks Susy. It has come up quick, probably because I was just there 2 weeks ago. I'm a little anxious but I'm sure everything will be fine. Have no idea when I'll be home but will keep you posted as best I can. I'm hoping by the end of the week, but it will all depend on how the surgery goes I guess.

Hey guys! Here I am in the big city just waiting for my surgery tomorrow. The drive down was a lot quicker then I had expected. I think it was only 7 and half hours. Didn't get lost too bad. The gps and the map came in handy, good thing for both of them, so thanks again Ma03's son and SusyQ.
Tonight I'm just going to relax and try not to worry too much.

Well I just heard from Tippi's husband. Tippi's surgery ended up being cancelled this morning, because of a trauma/emergency.

Not only to have driven down there, but the anxiety and crap associated with surgery is exhausting. Then you find out it is being pushed back.... ugh I know that when it happened to me I wanted to hurt someone!

Yep I'm home and still all in one piece. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. Talk about a roller coaster of feelings. I don't think I've been that upset for a very long time. I felt like I was just kicked in the teeth.

Here I was laying on a stretcher prepped, IV started, which wasn't easy and very painful. I had already talked with the anaesthesiologist, even shaved my legs. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif I was waiting outside the operating room and apparently they had 2 traumas coming in at the same time and needed the operating rooms and surgeons. They told me I was going to have to go home and just wait for someone to call with another date.

Now what a waste of time, energy, money etc. Not to mention my Uncle took 2 days off work to take me to the hospital both days, one for the pre-op and then for the surgery. That's the worse part. That's what I feel bad for. The inconvenience that I put upon others all for nothing. Not to mention the travel distance. I was so mad I could spit nails. And to think I'll have to go through all of it again.
