Some of the games on the Wii are just fantastic. So far, I have bought Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Wii Play used minus the secondary remote, House of the Dead 2 & 3 compilation to try out the hand gun attachment (This game is not my cup of tea but it gives me a notion of what the gun attachment can do), Mario Kart (Wow is all I can say. It works beautifully with the included wheel), Super Mario Galaxies, and Wii Fit. This all in the last week and a half. I am even entertaining buying a fishing rod attachment and a fishing game to see if I would like that also.

This little console won't replace my PC for gaming, but it sure does offer a different type of gaming that is more interactive. I was never one for platform games...ok...I really hated platform games since its infancy. However, Super Mario Galaxies is quite something different. I have yet to play a PC game that is so addictive. The game play is something special also.

Oh and the Wii Fit is fantastic. I know that there is a little controversy about the body mass calculations and how direct it tells it to you. Big deal. Ignore the slight insults and get into shape with a plethora of awesome exercises and games. It is truly a unique item in the gaming industry. I am thinking its impact will be far reaching. The platform is solid and well built. I was a little worried because I am a fairly big man. So far, everything is good.

I am really sold on the little Wii. I would have never thought I would be playing on a console..let alone, enjoying it so much. I even replaced my router with a wireless one just to see what it does on the internet.

Yeah, though the Wii sat and collected dust for awhile, its recently become the most played system. PS3 is used daily for movies and the Wii for gaming, while my 360 is taking a break for the most part.

Wii Fit is definitely an amazing product. If you already work out regularly, it won't do too much, but for those of us that can't afford gym memberships, or are too lazy to travel there, its a good alternative to help get in shape. And, its nowhere as simple and 'easy' as some believe. If you're one of those people, I implore you to try some of the yoga and strength training.

My Wii library is as follows:

Wii Games

1) Battalion Wars 2

My girlfriend was never a console gamer nor even a gamer at all. The most she ever did was little online games. When I got my Wii, she became instantly hooked and loved the Wii Sports. She said that she would never even touch the Wii. She almost played it as often as me.

Those are excellent games Chako. You are basically covering all the bases in terms of gameplay. You have strategy games (Zelda, Metroid), fun games (SM Galaxy, Wii Play), Shooting/Arcade games (Ghost Squad) and fitness games (Wii Fit).

That's a really good start to the Wii collection. If I hadn't gotten the system when it first came out, I would have loved get a collection of games like that right from the start. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Good library of games. For the price of one game, I modded my Wii, easy as I got one of the first batches in North America. I could list my library, but it's well over 50 games, 1/4 of which are purchased/gifts. I have spent a bit on Wii points cards too, the virtual console is sweet, one console with games from NES, SNES, N64, NGC and Wii, not to mention Sega Master system, Genesis ect..
