Why are the topic titles changing when Marisa Belsito posts off topic???

There is no excuse or justification for your unfairness and unreasonable behaviour.
I suggest that you stop continuing to try to create unnecessary problems and confusion.
It is not good for anyone.
Ms. Marisa Belsito
I like to know as well. Both of the topics that she has posted in are now Titled "communication"
Whats going on?????

oh, you can change it... that's kinda neat /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
Ok so now when I want to change the subject instead of Hijacking I'll just change the heading.
Cool.
I'm wondering, is it possible that she doesn't realize that she's not starting a new thread? Just throwing that out there. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

You can change the title of somebody else's thread??? I thought only the thread starter could things like that ordeleting them, etc.....except for mods of course.
Well well well, I didn't know it was possible but I guess you can
I just tried with my last post and yes you sure can.

It would appear someone found a glitch in the system.Something like this could be trouble in the wrong hands.

you can only edit your own threads, posts. I think so
Soundbear

Not quite.
If you click "Reply" inside the box below each post, it changes the title of the thread out in the main forums list, but not in the sub-headings list.
Obviously a stupid little glitch, and potentially very confusing.

We will soon have a whole new software to deal with. So I please ask that no one miss use this. A 24 hour ban or more may occur for miss use.

For the General Readership:
I find the words "a new system" an interesting subject.
They bring a smile to me when thinking about how they can have more than one connotation.
lol
Nonetheless I encourage you to try to engage in respectful communication and sincere GOOD FUN.
Respect involves logical thinking and reasonable behaviour.

Would repectful communication include abiding by the rules of the board, staying on topic, and leaving subject lines as the original poster intended?

If she changed the subject line I would expect she would have gotten a 24 hour ban...
of course that would only happen if the religion/politics forums where moderated more than once a month /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Speaking of which, how exactly does one go about applying to be a moderator? I have searched the posts for Moderator applications and the best I have come up with is Shawn's post to contact the site admin if you have a problem with Moderators.

If you have any actual concern about, say, the religion forum, you ain't got a chance!!!

I have expressed interest twice to a moderator about being a mod, and they've just said that they're not looking for mods at the time, but they'll keep me in mind. They don't want me...*sniff* LOL

Gracious me, you need to really work at clearing up your mind to make room for learning rather then posting more in that impetuous manner.
That was merely a suggestion and clearly not an order.

I truly doubt that you have much to offer as a teacher Ms. Belsito (in my own humble opinion).
