This does not surprise me, being a person who owns a fair share of both ATI & Nvidia cards and with all the driver issues still I prefer the Graphic look of the ATI cards. Defiantly not the first time they have tried stuff like this.

Mind you what they did could make a difference and prove useful if it's found that the GPU can do most of the work. This could mean a slow down on the need to upgrade CPU's.

Quotes from the same article...

"To be fair, ATI has been caught at the same thing as well."

"...and Intel compilers come with curious optimisation defaults as well."

I'm sure all companies do questionable or even dishonest and unethical things through it's lifespan, especially companies as huge as Intel, Nvidia and AMD.

This is Futuremarks' fault, in my opinion. After Nvidia bought Aegia, they should have altered/discontinued their use of the PhysX API in their program, if anyone was so concerned about a conflict of interest.

I like benchmarks, but just for basic comparisons and light stress testing. Anyone who takes them too seriously has issues.
