How is Arena?? I haven't tried it yet. I've just started doing Kara a few weeks ago and my first heroic run at MgT.

Arena is alright.. I don't do it much anymore. I'm more into PvE but arena is a great way to get gear. I am done with Kara.. just badges left for me there. I dislike MgT so I haven't even finished on reg yet. lol

Im a 29 now. I level 2-3 times a day. Im a quest MONSTER. Hence why I have no money lol. Maybe 14 gold now. I will be getting my level 30 tomorrow/today and with that ... Mount trainng will be opened. Sadly enough ... Im broke from burning all the cash on boosting my tailoring/first aid/cooking ...... This SUCKS!

Why not take professions that make you gold until you hit 70 then change them? That way you don't have to spend it all on profs and have none for your mounts. The only secondary I leveled with me was First Aid.

I bought every mount as soon as I was able to without issue (*gasp* even epic flyer) and still have almost 9k. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Take skinning and mining till ya hit 70, you'll make more that way. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

This is my paladin. I haven't been playing much lately, and over the course of the last year or two I built up a bunch of ret gear so I've been playing around with that lately. My healing gear is pretty decent too, but I'm having a ton of fun as ret right now.

Well Im a level 30 now. I ran through 2 instances, and picked up 200+ Light leathers and Heavy Leathers. Sold them, along with a PILE of rare armor and jewelry in the Auction house, and made almost 80 gold today. Im now walking ... ahem ... running around on a Violet Raptor /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif I justhave TOO much free time lol

You should of picked skinning/leatherworking as prof's and you would have been self sufficient as far as armour goes. You can craft pretty decent armour for yourself, not to mention it's a pretty good money maker too. On the server I used to play on Barbaric bracer's used to go for about 20-25g. With leatherworking you can eventually craft mail. So once you hit lvl40 you can still make your own armour and eventually take on Dragonscale leatherworking.

The only downside is farming for mat's. I spent hours trying to get the recipe's for the stormshroud armour set for my rogue. Then farming for the mat's... It was well worth it in the end though.

Well Im level 33 ... but I took on new professions Im gonna stick with. I get mail at level 40 apparently so ... mining and Blacksmithing are the best choice for me. Actually blacksmithing is a bad idea, as later on, your items are all plate. The only real Mail production profession is Leatherworking, when you choose Dragonscale as a mastery.

As a Hunter, nothing you make will be useful with blacksmithing. Your call, but your going to wind up really not being happy with your end results.

I've changed my profession so many times on my main character, you'll eventually find what it is you want. I was happy with enchanting and herbalisim, that way I can enchant my stuff and pick herbs for my guildies to make stuff for me /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Also, in case your wondering, Engineering is also good for a hunter. If you end up using guns, you can make some, and also make your own ammo, plus other little trinkets and such. You can also make a headpiece at high lvls that is almost equal to Tier 5 gear.

Engineering and enchanting are both crazy expensive to level. If you're having troubles saving for a mount, you won't want to take up either of these.

Im level 41, and maybe 10,000xp off 42 lol. You can level fast when questing non stop and battling mobs 3-5 levels higher than you. Granted .. Im a hunter, I hav a pet to deal a little damage for me before I go rushing in

Hunters are awesome. In my opinion, only two classes worth using, Hunter or Warlock. Minions and Pets. Best thing ever!!!!

Cant quite take someone by yourself? NO PROBLEM! Send the pet in to help you out. And ... with a hunter, your pet can be your own personal tank. My Coyote have almost 3000 armor and hits for a little over 80. 130+ with beastial wrath /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I had to wit a lil over 7 hours for Burning Crusade to update ... that was fun. So I ended up making a Blood Elf Paladin. Im going Holy over the course of my leveling. Not enough of em so .. why not :P.

Not too late. I was refering to a character that you had at lvl 50. The BC expansion starts you off in new areas but you still have to play in the old areas after lvl 15 or so.

Yeah that's fine. I got to 50 in a very short time. I dont mind doing it again. I like the Pallys. Powerhouses ... AND, I can heal myself as opposed to spending money on potions and food.

Well I went to bed last night at level 17. Not too bad for a days worth. Kinda power leveled from 8-14 though ... paid some guy to demot eh critters so I could chew teh quests up to get the hell outta teh Barrens. That place is HELL without a mount ... ugh.

Today, whenever I start, will be on a FRESH level. 24 er so points into level 17. I'll see if I can push 25 by the time Im done for the day .. heh.

I put my 50 hunter on the backburner and made him my alt. The Pally already seems to be standing up to a LOT more pressure than the hunter ever could. Played his spec as a Prot .. and so far .. it's been good to me /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Oh, you need to level as retribution. If you were to level as Holy, you wouldn't be 70 before you were 80 (years old)! lol

Ret. is, by far, the quickest and most fun way to level a Pally. I didn't go holy until I was 70. As I was levelling, I was mostly ret. with some talents in Holy. Uber easy!

I leveled as all three.. I found ret to be the fastest as well untill you hit outlands at least, then you pick tanking or healing

Im amazed to see how fast you can level once you've been through it once. I took a few days off to work on professions and farming, and I still have my Paladin @ level 47, and my hunter @ level 66 with rested until next level. ( Had the full 1.5 bars of rested )

For those of you who haven't tried a Paladin , I suggest you do. Even until level 30. They're pretty fun =)
