I read that he was in the hospital with pnuemonia but people recover from that! That IS definitely sad news, he was such a funny guy!

Art are you Macs in disguise! Only macs hates everything!

To each their own.. but no need to mention that after the guy met an untimely death.
..and there's just something about that 'hate' word that's not all that palatable..

Mac suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005.

On August 1, 2008, Mac was hospitalized with - according to his publicist - pneumonia. The next day, responding to rumors that the actor was in "very, very critical condition", his publicist said that he was responding well to treatment, and should be released soon. On August 9, Bernie Mac died from - according to his publicist - complications of pneumonia.

The 2008 Bud Billiken Parade in Chicago, on the day he died, was dedicated to his memory

Thinking hard .. .Im sure you know him. He's played in a lot of big movies ... he just has a face you can kinda forget about if you dont see it a lot. Nothing REALLY distictive.

2007 - Ocean's Thirteen
2004 - Ocean's Twelve
2004 - Mr. 3000
2003 - Bad Santa
2001 - Ocean's Eleven
1996 - Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood

He was a great man ... his roles always played to perfection. Great comedian ... sadly ... it happens to the best of us.

I had to IMDb'm. Once I say his face, I kinda went ya, I think I've seen him before.
Weren't there rumours of him having aids years back? That would explain him dieing of pnuemonia this young. No?

Oceans 11, 12 and 13 were great. Bernie just made them even greater. He will be missed
