That don't prove nothing ..it was raised by humans so it would react to humans different than a wild lion would.

The actions the cat displayed was the greeting of a friend.
Pet (cat) owners will tell you..........he remembered them.

The actions the cat showed it was not your everyday meeting.
The rubbing of the face, tail position, ears....pawing with no claws.
Cats will not do that to just anybody.

The cat knew the people. If it was comfortable around people and that was all it was displaying he would have just been non-threatening. This Cat was affectionet, animals have much stronger sences thatn we do as humans. They can recognize specific ones.
