If you go to Sonic Northern they have a pen that can add traces to boards.

thx mboy, sonic northern directed me to mtv to do the mod for me, id rather pay him 5$ to do a 5 second connection than pay 30$ for a pen that i would end up using 1 drop lol. unless somoene on these boards has a pen or paint that i could buy or use for a min. i got bored so i decided to mod the kids dfi lanparty mobo to a sli chipset and see how that pans out.

tried #2 pencil, didnt seem to work. on the lanparty UT ultra boards, they are identical to the sli counterparts, minus 2 pads that arent connected. learned a valuable lesson today as well, electronic repair shops in this city are morons and shouldnt be allowed to even contemplate touching them. thankfully one knows what they are doing

went back at it again with a #2 pencil, guess i didnt remove the epoxy enough the first time around, but now its working great. got myself a badass sli mobo for the kids now lol. aside from having to run sli @ 8x/8x its gonna be a decent performing mahcine.
Also would like to add, that nvidia drivers (current ones anyways) dont disable this mod in any shape or form.

Just did the pencil mod myself on my EVGA 750i SLi FTW mobo and it worked great, may be able to OC over 3.6GHz now ob this Q6600.
