This is one of my favorite Holidays. I'm about due for a turkey dinner. This year my mom and I are cooking dinner together. I so look forward to doing that and spending the day at my mom's with the kids and hubby.

What's everyone else doing?

All my men will be away hunting  So chances are "no turkey for me"
IF they were to come home Monday I might cook one for us.

I have however been asked to bake Pies BEFORE they go hunting!

we're having a chicken cause i'm too cheap to buy a turkey!! lol...jk, i'm not too cheap but we got messed around financially this month and a turkey wasn't in the cards...boo hooo. i'm still going to do it up like it's a turkey though, just a small one. my parents are supposed to be coming up but they need to find a dog-sitter cause their dog(sweet as she is) destroys anything you leave within her reach and there's toys everywhere here. i'm hoping to get some time to do something fun with my daughter cause she doesn't get as much one-on-one time with me as she'd like

I have never attempted to make pumpkin pie before. My husband asked if I would this year because it smells so good and I said if he runs home on his breaks at work to help me cook the dinner, I would be glad to! lol I might actually do it this year though. I LOVE homemade pumpkin pie.

I'll be making the pumpkin pies before the guys go hunting.
My Best friend from Highschool is coming to town for the weekend, so it'll be a weekend of catching up and hanging out with one of my oldest and dearest friends. Dinner out a time or two and a few drinks is likely on the agenda. AFTER I make pie!
