Well i don't know about that by-law, but if there is NO sign posted as to such a law. Then i would say its ok to park there during these times/dates.

You could however call the city police up and as the duty officer if there is any by-laws and to what streets to they apply to.

Oh that by-law ...... yeah most know you can't park on street from 12am to 6am in the winter months. I usually say when it first snows .. don't park on the street from then on until the snow melts in spring.

Ok Officer MadMax...

Well its only a thing drivers usually know about. I for one don't need to park on the street and usually there is a driveway for all ppl who drive to park in, so there is no excuse for parking on the street in the first place and as for visitors to your house ... well tell em to walk over..... :)

that, definetely, is one thing I DO NOT miss from the Sault.
Most roads out here are OK all year long.

They always write tickets for the first week after it starts, snow or no snow, because people seem to think it only applies when snowing. They don't start towing until after it starts snowing though.

Andre is right, the bylaw is Nov 1st at 12:01 am and it does not matter if there is snow or not the rule still is in effect

there are lots of places to park besides the road. choose one of those and walk the extra 50 feet. (:

Also remember not to block the sidewalks. The sidewalk plow can and usually does call and get your car ticketed/towed. It makes their job much more difficult as well as making a mess at the end of your driveway too!
