We finally got around to carving the 2 pumpkins we bought, one for our daughter Kennedy and one for our son Dominic.

Here are the pumpkins after they were finished (not the greatest photos), took a few quick photos before blowing the candles out.

Thank you but to be completely honest.... just about any one could do it. It's actually pretty easy, much easier then we thought.

I printed out two stencils, cut the extra paper away and taped them to the pumpkins. I then took a small knife and using just the tip I traced along the lines of the stencil. After the pattern was cut into the pumpkins my husband took the small blade that came in a pumpkin carving kit I bought for $0.93 at Canadian Tire and started cutting them out.

Tinkerbell was a little harder then the Lightening McQueen because around her eyes it's so thin and close together. In total it took about 2 hrs to do, from the time I traced the stencils in, my husband cut them out and then did their names and then put the candles in so I could take some pictures.

We had a great time doing it and the kids loved getting in there and digging everything out without any hesitation. Keep in mind my daughter is 16 1/2 mths old and my son will be 3 next month lol.

lol It sounds like a long time but it didn't seem like it was that long, we had fun and were laughing and joking while we were doing it. It wasn't until I actually looked at the clock when we finished that I realized how much time had passed.

Pm'd you back hp2

I have some 2 stencils of Tinkerbell, one of Lightening McQueen and one of Cinderella if anyone wants them. Just PM me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail them to you, then you just have to print them out, cut off the excess paper, tape them to the pumpkins and trace along the lines so that you'll be cutting out the gray areas.
