It looks so pretty out. Thinking about going to sit near the fire place with a good book, blanket and hot chocolat.

I don't mind the snow when it's light and fluffy like that and it's not so cold out. It was actually nice out. The roads are a mess though, so take caution when driving. The city is asleep again...lol

My kids have been loving all this snow, great to see them playing and having so much fun together outside!

Even the horses were frolicking in it, that's funny to watch. They love getting their pics taken too!

would be nicer if i had seen one street plowed between the airport and algoma university and back again a different route, not one plowed street.

Ya I hear ya on that...I drove at 9:00 from the west end to the east end then to a friends house and not once did i see a plow...and on the way home going on main streets like Queen there still wasn't one...brutal dirving...not even slippery just a ton of snow on the road

In all honesty, judging by the last storm and this one, and what I've seen...

I've come to the conclusion that the city is way behind on getting plows on their dump trucks....which would explain it all. The only things I've seen plowing are graders, and ONE dump truck.

REAL PREPARED!!!

I had to walk home in it tonight and I do not have boots yet! So yeah I was thrilled to no end about the snow.. it was only a 15 min walk but it was cold on the ankels.

Our street was plowed last night. The sidewalk plow came along in the morning. Its really hard to plow in the day time with all the traffic and cars parked on the roads.Makes a real mess. All roads are being plowed at night. 20 miles per driver.

Oh my aching back. I hate shoveling snow!! The plow did not pass yet... I think I'll stay home this morning and venture out later in the day when the streets are in better shape

Snow isn't holy, my child.

It is a gift from God, so therefore, it is. :D

Probably has something to do with all those road construction projects that are behind schedule... dump trucks are still carrying gravel.

We now have a one hour drive to and from home so I dread the snow. Feels like warp speed on the highway in the dark with all those flakes. Can't get snow tires on until Tuesday so I'm driving really, really carefully with visions of ditches and deer. Last night we almost relieved a fox of his life but thankfully missed.

We're pretty lucky here for plowing but we never realize it. If Barney would like to mention how the roads can be out west that would be nice. If I recall correctly, they don't like to plow, instead they rely on the "chinooks" to melt it. When I was in Calgary, they actually fined a man for plowing his own impassable street. You have to shovel your own sidewalks but plowing wasn't allowed. Weird!
