Next on my list for tomorrow.

But seriously: a genuinely ground-breaking blockbuster in videogame history. There were moments playing GTA IV that I thought back to my initial experiences with games, and realised exactly how far we've come. There's never been anything quite like GTA IV in the world. That there makes me genuinely happy to be a gamer.
Also, beating up people and taking their money and stuff.

As usual, the pc version kicks the xbox 360 in the ass

New high resolution technology brings Liberty City to life with even more stunning graphical detail
Expanded multiplayer will require even more strategy and skill to come out on top
Custom Match allows you to pick your favorite multiplayer options and then instantly find online matches that fit
Record gameplay clips and edit them together with a variety of options using the Video Editor and upload via the Rockstar Social Club
Optimized for PC controls and Xbox 360 controller

It seems to work much better on quad cores than the dual. Thats according to the forums anyway.

the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV offers a wealth of new features, including 32-player multiplayer modes - expanded from 16 on the console versions of the game; a deep, sophisticated and easy-to-use video editor tool to capture and edit in-game footage; stunning, high-resolution graphics; and the all-new Independence FM radio station that allows players to add their own songs for a truly personalized and unique in-game music experience." ............

The game is amazing and it looks incredible. Quad cores are used to the full extent.

Before I had a E6750 which at stock which gave me 32 fps (with the 280GTX on using High textures). Overclocking it to 3.2Ghz (from 2.66) gave me a 7 frame rate increase.

I then put in the Q6600 and at stock it was already 8 fps higher than the E6750 at 3.2. With the Q6600 at 3.0Ghz I gained an additional 7fps.

I plan on going to 3.6 with the Q6600 and I am expecting another 5-8 fps increase. That would land me at the magical average of 60fps.
