Is there a place in town(I'm sure there is but don't know where),that rents dishes,etc..? I guess I'm making Christmas dinner this year but unfortunatly I don't have "that" many dishes(maybe 20 ppl) and I'd rather not use paper plates LOL.Thanks for any help

Show Stoppers did it. My friend rented dishes for a party from them about 5 years ago. I don't know if they still do it but they did.

I saw Christmas Dishes some where on sale ,
Pick up a couple sets of them,
I think they were 9.99
I think they were a 4 place setting.

The ones at a&p are really nice. They look like china and they come with Silverware as well. The flatwear is actually silver in colour and looks really nice. I think its $9.99 for the set, Full placesettings.

Disposable is always a nice option, if I recall correctly the rented ones were to be sent back dirty. No washing was required.

Show Stoppers - Phone: (705) 759-4372 I threw out the list of stuff they had, but they rent by the item. Utensils were I think fifty cents a piece. Call them and get a price.

Ooh you're in luck because I was just at Show Stoppers looking at wedding decor, so I have the price list right here lol

square white dinnerware
plates are .99 each
salad plate .89 each
dessert plate .79 each

glass dinnerware
dinner plates (10") $4.99/10
salad plate with rim (8") 3.99/10
dessert plates $3.99/10

platter (14") $1.99

knives $3.99/10
dinner forks $3.99/10
spoons $3.99/10

I think it's a great idea to rent if you are having a lot of people, the best part is that you have to give the dishes back dirty!

It's right in their rental policies, "Dishes MUST be returned unwashed."
sounds like a pretty good policy to me!
and I think they will deliver them and pick them up if you want them to.

Honestly I wouldn't buy christmas plates, unless I hosted Christmas every year, otherwise they would be a total waste of space and when would you really use them?

Get to work! LOL!

..and all my dishes better be there when I get home tonight LMAO!

Seriously though, they have some pretty nice (basic) plates at the dollar store. Or, A&P has those place settings (white with silver trim)..don't know how much they are though.

..might be worth it for what you'd pay to rent them?

LMAO,I only borrowed a "few" of them k??.Haha Spendy, that was my laugh for the day. :-)

I'm going to call Showstoppers cause I won't have to wash them all,LOL. Thanks everyone!!

I saw those earlier today in A&P, had to take a second look at them...very nice looking! White plates with the silver trim...sharp looking. Didn't realize they were hard plastic until I got close up and read the package.
