A friend fo mine asked me if single people that live alone and receiving governemnt asistance can register for the christmas cheer thingy. And i had no clue, does anyone knowif it is possible or do you have to be a family?

I know single people who receive christmas cheer. The amount of food in your package reflects the number of people being supplied for.

It doesn't matter if you are single or not, it all depends on income. Of course those on disability and OW usually automatically qualify, but there are some that are working, not full time that will qualify for it. There is a scale for household income left after taxes, paying rent, and utiliies that they go by. I do not know anyone that doesn't qualify for it, as most people that apply do. Used toys will be accepted until Wednesday, December 10.

You can drop off monetary donations, canned food, sporting equipment and gift certificates until December 17.
