Ok, I'm relatively new to this so I'll give it a shot.

How about pics of anything that is naturally unusual. It can be something that is rare, freeky, odd looking , etc... But something natural, not fabricated.

Here's one example you may have seen already from another thread. growth on ice cube tray.

Unusual growth of tree.

Here's a picture of Big Rock in Okotoks (just south of Calgary):
Here is the story if you don't know what Okotoks is:
Story Of Okotoks Erratic (http://www.cd.gov.ab.ca/enjoying_alberta/museums_historic_sites/site_listings/okotoks_erratic/index.asp)

Here is a native pictograph drawn on the northern most side of Big Rock:

Here is a picture of Castle Rock in Claresholm.
It is a natural occurrance of rocks that were carried by glaciers (erratics) & formed themselves into a circle, resembling a castle.

Didn't Terry Fox make it as far as Thunder Bay before he had to quit? Wouldn't coming UP Mile Hill be going in the wrong direction? Just curious?

I beg your parden but he came up mile hill as I was there. He left the Sault and headed north. You better get your info right. Call city hall.

FYI he was heading to Thunder Bay...how old were you? I am now 73 and he ran right pass the entrance to PINE SHORES Rd. as I was camping there. Are you calling me a liar because I am getting sick of your insinuations. </div></div>

Well ....I'm pretty sure if you leave Soo and head north to thunder bay ...when you come to the mile hill you'll be going down the hill not up. That picture don't even look like mile hill, since there are 2 lanes going up the hill and 1 down.

Holy fark, ask a simple question and people get their panties in a bunch! It was only out of curiosity. Some of you must be a peach to try to spark up a conversation with!

Here........
After 18 months and running over 5,000 kilometres (3,107 miles) to prepare, Terry started his run in St. John’s, Newfoundland on April 12, 1980 with little fanfare. Although it was difficult to garner attention in the beginning, enthusiasm soon grew, and the money collected along his route began to mount. He ran 42 kilometres (26 miles) a day through Canada's Atlantic provinces, Quebec and Ontario.

It was a journey that Canadians never forgot.

However, on September 1st, after 143 days and 5,373 kilometres (3,339 miles), Terry was forced to stop running outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario because cancer had appeared in his lungs. An entire nation was stunned and saddened. Terry passed away on June 28, 1981 at age 22.

If he came up Mile Hill he was going the wrong way that day. Everybody happy now!? D amn childish I'm telling you. And you are how old?
