Not for any religious reasons...

It's because they couldn't find 3 wise men!

Good one. :pclap:

Seriously, though, I think there are three wise men in Ottawa, and in power. Despite the fact that I don't agree with all of their politics (or proposed policy), I have a great deal of respect for the following three men: Stephen Harper, Gilles Duceppe, and Michael Ignatieff. I believe they are all principled men, honest, and forthright. I may not buy into Quebec separation, but I believe Duceppe is as straightforward as they come, as are the other two. Not slimey, deceptive and backdealing (my own made up word) like Layton, Chretien, Trudeau, etc. Or just plain stupid like Rae.

I'm quite happy to have these gentlemen debate the future of our country at this time. I think they are decent enough people to work together, once the fireworks has blown over.

Supposedly there will be a 'savior' in Washington starting January 20th, if you need one for the Nativity scene.

Whether what is in the Title is fact or fiction the TOPIC is one well worth a lot of thought.

It is not a black and white(analogy)issue and there is no reason to jump to any conclusions.

QUOTE

Would you like to elaborate your meaning in sufficient detail?

When ensembles of the BIRTH are nothing but PERFORMANCES as in SCENES TO A SCRIPT in the PLANET HOLLYWOOD sense what difference would the removal of a structure really make other than rock the boat (analogy) when they are nothing more than FRONTS and/or parts of phony TRADITIONS, CUSTOMS, NORMS or BELIEFS.

Added to that would need to be WRONGFUL SOCIAL CONTROL MEASURES.

Even when the motive could be to not appear to want to inflame religious tensions, many differences and/or to decrease the affect of general adversarial ways the removal could do a lot of good in the National and Global sense.

Those ways are not conducive to genuine problem solving nor real peace or harmony within reason.

Though I really do not know whether the Title is about fact or fiction I do find the Topic a most interesting one.

Before I draw nearer to that stone to which you point, answer me one question. Are these the shadows of the things that Will be, or are they shadows of things that May be, only?

You need to clarify yourself.
