If you're like me and enjoy shooting pictures but dont have a huge understanding of how everything works, i highly recommend this site.

http://web.canon.jp/imaging/enjoydslr/

don't worry it's in enlgish. i've been trying to wrap my head areound the terminology and what everything does for months and months now, and i found this site to be a big help, mostly because it includes examples.

I'ts definitely worth checking out if you're new to maunual shooting modes, and trying to make the most of your pics.

there's definitely been lots of "ohhhhh, i get it now!" coming out of my mouth the last day. i just seem to get it more when there's pictures and diagrams showing me... when someone tells me, i just don't visualize it properly and end up all confused.

That's a really nice resource, Rich. A little knowledge goes a long way with these DSLRs and it's great of you to share.

No, thank you. I did not know of your link. I use the URL that I posted with my class...but I really like yours. It is perfect for someone just starting out. My link is a little more advanced, even though it has excellent images and animations.

Have you tried this filter program before?

It is a free and powerful filter program.
