Well Macs (hello by the way where ya been) I bought $30 worth of party stuff where it would have cost me more at Zellers or Walmart. Some stuff is ok.

Its surprising to me that they were able to keep things at a dollar this long. They do serve a purpose for throw away items but I would never buy cleaning supplies for example and expect the same results.

I bought an 8" Linesman pliers in there for a buck. The plying part is pretty good the cutters...not so much.
They look like they might last a year or two. Still for a buck though...

All depends what the product is. I've bought dish pans for camp, brooms, plastic salad bowls. All pretty good quality considering the price. I always buy my gift bags and stuff like that there.

They have some things that you will have a hard time finding anywhere else, least of all at that price.
But of course you have to be careful, because some of it is just junk.

I purchase all my cleaning stuff there. You get a pack of 15-20 scour pads for a dollar, I get the 'Terrifick' SOS pads which work well and there 1 dollar oven cleaner works better than any brand name!

The garlic press is handy too. I buy some sponges and stuff there for cleaning. The exact same ones at Wally world are $5. To me a broom is a broom, so I buy those there as well. Party stuff too.

I have purchased glasses from there. Can't beat em for one dollar. Cooking utensils for a buck is a great price as well.

Cards, wrapping paper, tinfoil, bottled water, etc all for a buck is a great price.

well i for one LOVE the dollar storei buy like all my hair products there, heck dove, sun silk, herbal essences and all of the other products that would normally be 3-4 bucks in the store if not more, I get my pop from ther when im out instead of paying 2 bucks from the machine or even more from the resteraunts in the mall. i buy my dog poop bags and so much more from there, i hate too see them raise he prices tho.

I buy paint brushes there for small non important painting jobs. Not quality brushes - but paying just a buck sure beats cleaning them.
