Phenom II prices are very reasonable too. It's tempting and I want one but I'll wait for a bit, see what they come out with next I think.

Im in the exact same boat lol. How well is your asus board oc'ing? I went with the gigabyte ds4h 790gx instead of that one , but was torn on which to get.

This board is pretty good. I can get the bus speed up to 289MHz which opens alot of doors for OCing options. The ACC that was being touted as a big SB750 feature is pretty well useless with this setup for some reason. 2.8Ghz is as high as this Phenom will go with ACC on, no matter what I try. Max OC with it off is about 3.33Ghz stable. I tried for 3.4 but even at 1.55V booting into Vista was a hit and miss deal.

Ya there seems to be an ACC problem with this board as well. ive got mine @ 3.2ghz all stock voltage so far. Not considering pushing any further until my ram comes in.
