Well I am going back out this Sunday to do some photography. I will get at Bellevue park around 11:30 to 12:00, weather permitting. So if any of you wish to join me, you are more than welcome. I think I will park at the same location, the red roofed picnic building. Probably do a little walk around the park..should take no more than an hour or two.

Weather permitting(I'm a suck), I might like to come! I just got a new digital and would like to get some shots. It's not a great camera, but it's new!

Its still a go, depending upon the weather. I don't mind the cold. Its just hard on batteries.

I used to shoot ski clubs. Take an extra set if you can and put them in your pocket with one of those hand warmer thingys.

Looks like I'm painting my friend's house all weekend, but if I get some time around noon on Sunday I'll head over to the park. I sure hope more show up this time - it'd be a nice way to spend some time.

I hope I get to go!! I really want to try my new camera out and hopefully learn how to use some of the functions on it!

Just checked the weather and it looks like it should be ok. I am looking forward to getting some wildlife shots this time. With my luck however, I probably won't see a thing. But that just makes it all the more challenging and fun.

My little sister is coming with me (Yorkie) with her dog. I hope that is okay. She said she will make sure he stays out of the way.

The weather turned dreadful as soon as I drove into the park. Talk about windy and wet conditions. I only took about 6 photographs and was forced to put away the camera. It was nice to meet up with \m/ Rich \m/ again along with Daiv and Yorkie. They are all very nice people.

Well the weather wasn't good, but the company was excellent.

Here are a few of the photos I took earlier today. Nothing special.

A test shot. The colour contrast caught my attention.

The sky was ugly. This was taken just before it started to snow badly. Which forced us to put away the cameras.

i must admit, the company was great but i am not at all pleased with how my pictures turned out today. This camera seems to produce a lot of noise in my pics for some reason. I was shooting at iso100.

I hardly took any pictures. I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know how to use my camera.
Hopefully I can go again next weekend and try some shots out.

PS. The pictures of Yorkie's dog make him look really cute and not at ALL stupid!!

bah we ragged on the dog a bit much for being dumb and all, but he's pretty cute, and still very much a puppy... that dog is gonna get BIG.

Hahah, I was actually insulting her dog yet again... she knows we're joking.
I'm very mad, though. My computer is acting like garbage and isn't even opening half the pictures - it's stuck in 'generating preview' or 'drawing'. I wanted to see if I got at least ONE half decent shot today.

Well, it's nothing special, but here's one picture that I took today. I took a few more of my dog when I got home. I don't UNDERSTAND this shutter speed thing, but I realized that it was taking a long time to take the picture the more I fiddled with that wheelie dealy. (Yes, I know you love my camera lingo.)

Be my guest Yorkie. In fact, here is the last of the dog photos for you.

\m/ Rich \m/ Next time let me look at your camera. It could be something as simple as your settings.

Daiv, yeah, the weather wasn't all that great for photography.

Here is a short video explaining shutter speed.

Got to love the accent.

Lots of nice videos here.

You can play these videos over and over until you understand them. That is something you just can't do with a live conversation. Hope this helps Daiv.

Sounds like you guys have fun. Sorry I missed it! Stripped wallpaper and ripped out carpet all day - exhausted. Maybe next time.

Nice shots of the puppy. I like the first one he best. :)

He looks extremely intelligent in his photos. But I guess that's the job of the artist.....

i wouldnt doubt he is a smart dog, hes just young and super hyper and it makes him appear stupid.. it was funny watching him chase the snow yorkie kicked into the air... i tried to grab some of it but i was stupid and forgot to check my shutter speed and i didnt get any good ones.

Okay. He is actually very intelligent. He knows plenty of tricks and commands and is in Obedience right now and doing well. He knows when I am angry and sad. He knows just about every house hold sound, and what it means. (Fridge Door... possible food droppings, Clanking of dishes... possible food droppings or feeding time, Ringing Phone... means jump on the couch on the seat closest to the phone so that I have to stand or sit on him while on the phone. lol... things like that.)

I was wondering, Rich, if you got any. I would love the have more shots with a good camera. I have a Kodak, 10x Optical but only 6 megapixels. So my pictures are alright, but they aren't the greatest quality.

I actually just read that megapixels have to do with the size and not the quality of the photo. Maybe try some different settings.

The quality is great at a certain size... but I have never have great quality BIG pictures. :( Which is why I mentioned the amount of mega pixels. Its a good camera for capturing special moments and stuff. But not even CLOSE to amazing.

like i said, i dont doubt for a second that he is a very bright dog - very happy and playful too! Most of my pics didnt turn out very well, i had my shutter speed set too slow so it wasnt till i got home to review them that i realized how crappy they looked, but ill see if i can put together some of the better ones for ya :)

Well if I sell my camera I will let you know. I'm hoping for a new one soon. I have a canon s3 with a telephoto lens. Great little camera and takes some good pictures(big and small). I'm hoping to move on to a DSLR now that I have a little more experience.
