Is there a way of Automating my media from my PC desktop to my PS3 hardrive?

Example....

Make a folder on PC side that will automatically send all files to PS3?
The graveyboat side of things is if I could say, after downloading queue is finished, the files would automatically transfer over to PS3 hardrive.

I'm trying to do the following....

Use Gamesharing on PS3 to watch all media on my PSP remotely from any WiFi worldwide!
Even better would be to use camera monitor software like the ones at gas stations (radio shack camera kits) and send THAT media (on the fly???) to PS3 hardrive for worldwide monitoring on PSP!!

Example #2

I'm in a hotel on holidays and can use "PSP" to "PS3" to "PC PVR" to "Video Surveillance" and see if I forgot to close garage door!!

I have not seen anything that would allow video surveillance or anything like that. There are several programs that will stream stuff from your pc to ps3, which in turn I am sure you could send to your psp.

Episode 87 and 88 should help you out on that.

One thing I am using too is Gridcast which streams HD tv to your pc and then streams it to your xbox 360 or PS3.

Windows Home server might be another solution. I have not played with it yet, but there might be some things in there that might help too, at least storing and streaming to the ps3 anyways.

Cool! I can watch my channel 88 for the apartment cameras, PVR them to my PC every 5minutes/5meg file size, and Gridcast them to PS3, and at friends house, Gameshare the connection buy watching directly from PS3 to PSP!!!

Now if I could figure out direct cabletv streaming with VLC for psp using Gameshare feature!!!
