Never met him personally, but he was a well known player in the Sault's musical history.

I had the privilege of playing with Booby D for a few gigs many years ago. He was a gentleman and a musician who helped bring rock to the Sault in the very early days. I last saw him at the 18Forever Concert at the Steelback (now Essar) Centre.
The music scene of today would be very different if it wasn't for pioneers like Bobby. R.I.P.

I didn't know this guy but have heard a lot of good things about him.I'm sure that all the Saults musicians that knew him will miss him. I'm only sorry I didn't get to meet him.

My condolences to the Drebit family and especially to Dean if he views these boards. My Dad was a "Bobcat" back in the day and I this was a name I heard on a regular basis. The Forever 18 gig was precious for all of them recently.

RIP Bobby.
