I'm not sure who it could be at this point.I heard Ted Nolan was one prospect at this point among others I'm sure.They might do what other clubs have done this year and that's bring up the minor league coach to finish off the season.

During the Toronto/ New York game last night they mentioned the outside possibility of Avery's return to help give the team some identity. I really can't think they would be so stupid as to gamble on him to give them identity.They did however mention the teams record with and without him in the line-up and there was a substancial benefit to having him there in the past.
