Anyone know where I can get some Crisco butter shortening? As I looked at Food basics on the hill, No Frills, A&P the one in the west end and on the hill, plus I also checked RJ's. So any help on where I can find some would be awesome. Thanks!!! :)

Not at Food Basics? Hmm, that's where I usually buy it...
Try Rome's?

A friend msg me this morning and told me that they were in the aisle with the cooking oil and salad dressings. I have to laugh because I sent hubby into the store to get the stuff cause he is the one who wanted it. Well we got some.

If I am making pie crusts, the only product I will use is Tenderflake lard. I can tell a shortening pie crust instantly because it's hard and crusty, not flaky like lard. Give it a try if you aren't on a strict diet for your health. It makes a world of difference.
