View Full Version : Can I see pictures of Soo?

I've mentioned a few times that I'll be moving to Sault in September, however I have never visited there before.

If anyone has pictures of around the town I would LOVE to see them, and if you could briefly explain where it was taken?

these are scenes from around the soo area, north of the soo. goulais river up by witman dam, lake superior, robertson bluffs, and beaver falls up by searchmont. it is just a beautiful area here for outdoors stuff. i dont have city pics, but i know lots of others do and will prolly post them soon. ooops, thats not the goulais, thats the batchewanna river up by tribag mine.

Thanks for the link Macs! That was an awesome video!! Are the hiking trails easy access for someone who doesn't have a car? Are they connected to the city or outside of it?

Not being from the north you have to realize that that question is somewhat subjective.

You can catch a city bus, walk for 30 minutes and be in the middle of nowhere.
You can also fish for trout, pike, salmon right downtown.

Premium hiking though I think you need a car...
but if you have friend, neighbours, or colleagues' that are heading that way..they will be happy to facilitated you.
