I am looking for some 12 point sockets to do soe work on my truck with, and I can't find a set or even one metric sizes ANYWHERE!! :( home depot had imperial size sets, and would have been perfect, but I can't find any place that has the metric ones!! besides paying an arm and a leg, and a finger, and a neck and a leg, an everything else my body has sticking out, at snap-on, I don't really want to do that.....

ANY gearheads out there help me out?? :|

Sears!! that's a good one I never thought of....thanks Peety :)

I did end up finding a set at walmart of all places, one of those cheap sets, but it had both metric and standard sizes so i grabbed that...makes a good little set for the wifey to play with when she needs tools :)

yeah I would have thought home depot would have had something, but they only had standard size ones, so I didn't bother getting them....

Thanks breeder, but those aren't QUITE what I needed :) thanks for the help!

crappy tire, they seemed to only have 6 point sockets, none 12...weird,

and partsource was closed by the time I was out really looking...it was a 12mm 12 point 3/8 drive socket I needed, to take the driveshaft bolts off the flange on my ranger....I bent my 12mm wrench with massive heat and torque with another wrench extending it, and my feet pushing........ :sblink:

what's funny is I was there about 5 minutes before closing (tooltown) to pick up a chain fall, and thinking that you can get any tool at can. tire, I decided to try there instead of tooltown lol....guess I shouldn't assume :)

Weld your wrench to the nut your trying to remove... been their done that... then get a huge pipe and about three people to loosen it off. really it works.
