Police are zippng all over the east end, one unit at Queen & Shannon and two units at Boundary & Dacey, anyone know whats going on? Seems like the intersection at Shannon & Bennett Blvd might be closed off.

I can see the corner of Shannon and Queen from my window, but not clearly. All I can see is flashing lights so I don't know what's going on. Curious though.

This is a case of what i was talking about in the domestic violence thread.

Well again if we had a up to date minute by minute of what is going on in this town by mobile alert and/or radio broadcast. It may have ben possible to catch this fella ASAP.

Speaking of nunchucks...before Chuck Norris was born, the martial arts weapons with two pieces of wood connected by a chain were called NunBarrys. No one ever did find out what happened to Barry.

Its come to the point I would not want to work in a convenience store. Its too CONVENIENT these days. Perhaps its time to have the police try a few stake outs of these places at night. Its only time until someone is shot and killed.

I think he changed his Soonet alias and is now promoting alternative methods to combat the high rate of crime in 'Scarborough North' (aka Sault Ste. Marie).

Police officers were dispatched to the Macís Convenience Store located at 2200 Queen St. east this morning at approx. 2:41 am.

The clerk advised that a male had entered the store and demanded the cash from the till as well as some scratch lottery tickets and some cigarettes.

The male who was wearing a red hoodie, and also had a green plaid jacket over his head and face. He was also and wearing black tear away track pants.

The male is described as being 6 ft. tall male, heavy set approx. 30-35 years of age.

The male fled on foot and the canine unit was called to assist but with negative results. The investigation is ongoing.

Yet again, if the criminal happens to be underage, does the clerk get arrested for serving cigarettes to a minor?

Maybe if they sold REAL coffee instead of that sludge in a cup they sell, we would.

Beats dealing with a cranky staff member at one of the Tim's on the hill
