too much about work?

When I came back to the Sault in May, I stayed at my sister's house & in my nephew's bed.
I was dreaming about work...cleaning an oil rig & I had to get up to "relieve" myself.
I guess that I was in such a deep sleep, for a minute or two I didn't know where I was & was bewildered cuz his bedroom didn't look like a rig nor did i know how to get outta this rig???? & hey, I needed to take a .....you know!
Maybe it was deep sleep & unfamiliar environment but I'm kinda ticked cuz if I'm dreaming about work, that means I'm double-timed & i ain't getting paid!!!

I dream about work all the time. Last time, I was dreaming I was at work, then somehow ended up being kidnapped from the job. And, funny thing is, as scary as being abducted should be, I was relieved! lmao

I hate dreaming about work. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

That is frequently a problem for me. There's many nights where it is as if I am at work - there is no telling that I really am only dreaming and not actually working. This has been an on-going issue for at least 14 years now.

It's frustrating when you finally do wake up and realize that work came home with you. Where was the rest?? lol

Many nights I can't seem to shut my head off when I hit the pillow. I may as well just stay up. Sheesh! lol

I've been retired for almost 5 years and I STILL dream about work!!! The weird part is that,in all of them, the hospital is indoors/outdoors! /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif It's really hard to explain but you step out of a room and the "hallway" is a street, rooms have one or two walls and no ceilings, but you can still take an elevator up and down to other departments. It is very bizarre!!!

One I remember vividly and very vivid at the time.Another nurse(who died several years ago...long before this dream happened)and I were returning from a coffee or meal break-walking up Gore St. and then North St. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif We could see some sort of commotion happening at the bottom of the hill where Byrne comes out and as we got closer we could see 2 groups of young teenage girls attacking each other.Just as we got there, one girl threw gasoline at the other group and another tossed a lit lighter. My heart STILL starts pounding when I remember the scene.Very quickly the scene shifted to the desk area of an ICU and I was talking to Dr.Fratesi as we were getting ready to go and treat another victim and I can't remember if it was another doctor or a cop who came in and Sam asked him what the tally was.....8 dead and 10 critical. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif And the rooms still had no ceilings and the hallways were streets!

I'm sure glad THAT one did not become one of my recurring dreams!!

what kinda dreams do dream therapists have?
do they have to see other therapists to get them analyzed?

Sometimes but not very often. If I have a difficult case that is challenging I might. But that is about it.

my worst was when i was a teepee salesman.
one night, i would dream that i was sleepin in a teepee.
the next night, i was dreaming that i was sleeping in a wigwam.
this would alternate until i went to the the therapist....she said, no prob...it's just that your job is stressful & you're "two tents"

Haha.
I don't dream of work very often, except when I've got a big project on the go, I do go over it in my dreams. I review what I'm supposed to do and try out different colours and layouts. Funny how most people don't believe that most of the work is done in my head before it hits paper.

My sister on the other hand, had a very scary dream of me at work. She dreamt that I was tattooing her and she couldn't speak. She could only watch as I tattooed her head to toe. Apparently I kept telling her that it would look great! Creepy dream, because I know darn well that my sister couldn't handle a big tattoo......lol.

I still have nightmares of working at Van Daele. As I'm sure so does everyone else that works there.

I dream about work more than anything else! I work in a Dr.'s office so I am constantly taking blood pressures in my dream, but the patients are always either problem patients or dirty old men! ! lol!!
