well i hope that holiday on monday doesn't disrupt the working poor from getting their GST cheque before the weekend

GST payments directly into your bank account are the 5th regardless whether a holiday falls into place like Canada Day.

Yes but July leads to the debate. Will I get more or less. Some are scared, some are not.
Only GST kids know?

by checking the GST rebate box on your income tax return and it's thus calculated by your gros taxable income.
Income, dependents, ..etc

But if your family makes too much money (in their opinion) then you don't get one.

You also don't get one if you don't make enough.
As it was explained to me "you didn't make enough to be paying much GST" for a GST rebate, how can you expect one?
They had a point there I couldn't argue with. lol

I have never heard of that before...I always understood that if you make too much money then you don't get a GST rebate, but never under. Where did you hear that? Please explain. I would really like to know. My understanding was that if you fell above the bracket for the GST rebate you wouldn't get one...but never falling below that bracket.

Right out of Revenue Canada. I called and asked.
I was going to college living off of a student loan at the time.
