i am wondering if anyone would know how much meat i would need for a pasta meatball meal for about 200 people. we r doing a benefit and doing our own cooking. thanks for any advice

1 pound of beef is good for 4 people for spaghetti and meatballs
so im guessing 50 pounds should be plenty..

when i make it for the family i use 1 pound of beef and it makes enough meatballs for the family and sometimes there are a few left over..
i can get 12 balls out of a pound..sometimes i lll use 2 pounds if i want leftovers for the next day..
depends how big you make them and how many balls per person..but you should be able to get at least 10 balls from a pound...
