nice movie, not really scary-b.c it's very very fake lol but that might just be b.c i've grown up being able to see this other world and know that movies and TV are very misleading as to its real origins and what they really are like.
For instance a spirit who has crossed over-let's say grandma-is MUCH more likely to move things around-to get your attention-than say, an Earth bound is..
b.c the spirits who go to God are much more energized then those who stay. Yet spirits are not going to throw your table around (a really old party/seance trick)..altho white orbs and orbs and faces CAN be caught on camera I'll have to say it's just a good film made to entertain this time around /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Hope that makes sense-all this is not easily explained in just a few sentences.
I did enjoy the movie though, thanks for sharing!

Sometimes everyones terms on things are different-so just to clarify do you mean when we see someone who looks exactly like us?

Right,I guess I mean more on the superstitious side, like when you see yourself in the mirror and it's not exactly you...like the evil side I guess...like the bad omen sorta thing...I'm sorry, been a while, need to brush up on my ghosts. I suppose it's more of an urban legend.

There's the belief that there's a good u and a bad you-I think it's fun to think about but if u want my real personal opinion-nope I dunt believe in it hehe. Forthe only fact that we are all not black and white-and are capable of both doing good one day and fibbing with lies the next. hehe. ps- I also believe in other worlds /realms, but i think we as humans are quick to judge anything unknown as evil. Which is why we are so afraid of all these paranormal concepts.

I agree with how anything we don't know is considered evil, mirrors have this like mystical sort of enigma about them though. Hee hee ever try the Bloody Mary trick in the mirror when you were younger?

lol, nope. not me. I was a chicken who was already seeing spirits faces and I thought they were nuts to be trying it1 LOL. I didn't believe in it as a child -I could see thru some of the tales we kids had-but I was still too chicken to proove it wrong lol. and the kids in my class would come out with cuts and stuff and I alway knew they were bs-ing and cutting themselves with those lil staplers they had with them-which I thought was really dumb lol.
I think in a way I'm glad I've always feared trying it as I do think evil can be called upon-and I think innocent intentions don't have anything at all happen to them-but the fact that evil spirits are out there is enough to make me careful /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

No kidding. I never tried it either, like you, too chicken, although you did have good reasoning haha. I may be on the darker side of things, but I don't mess with stuff like that. Now I've leafed through the Necronomicon, mind you, and it didn't frighten me, although I'm not so sure I'd wanna try evoking anything lol. But that is a completely different spectrum altogether!

I speak from experience. My childhood house was evilly haunted something fierce. In that case...we did not look for anything. It just was there. But, from those experiences, I wouldn't be inviting anything into the house that you don't have to.

i think ghosts are just a bunch or mass amount of sugar and energy in one place that hasnt been used up yet, either good or bad how come im never around when these things happen?

Ive had my stereo turn on by itself about 2 dozen times in the last 3yrs by itself.....hasnt done it since i moved, but it was crazy to wake up to the walls shaking at 400 watts at 3am-4am....also sometimes you think you would see something out of the corner of your eye
