What type of wood, looks very rich?

It's black walnut. I bought this board about two years ago from a guitar maker in Toronto.

you were right about the choice of finnish . looks spectacular. every time i look at these pics i get the urge to commission you to build me one. CUT IT OUT!!! lmao. some day i'm going to have to go and build what i want. i think that that is the wood that i would use. playing on the 20th. expecting you and donna there.

This one is for you John. ACG 02 filter based preamp.
No boost just cut. I will be converting this one over to 18 volt.
