just out of curiosity, why this specific tower and why do you want a blown board and chip?

Showing a pic of the tower does nothing for us, you need to list the model number of the tower before we could even begin to guess what model of motherboard it came with. And since many towers came with the same mobo's but different CPU's, you would need to list the exact CPU that came with it when originally purchased, if it was for somethinig like a warrenty claim.

I Believe that it is a Dell Dimension 2400 the CPU is usually a Intel P4 2.14ghz.

did you find a dead board? i could use the heatsink retention bracket off of one. the part that mounts to the board? can anyone help?
