Starting a band

Thinking about starting a Swing/Blues/Jazz band. Just wanted to know if there's any interested musicians out there, and if so what instrument do you play?

awesome.. I play guitar, mostly influenced by Clapton and SRV, and my wife is a trumpet player. So that would leave drums, vocals..

hey oscar you've had this thread going a while now huh.. is the dream still alive ?..like tutones i play alto sax but i do own a baritone..would make a nice horn section trumpet ,alto, bari...you gotta have keys though ,know anybody ? i also have practice space (if your willing to take the drive) & i play some drums...let me know whats what

I am getting better on the drums and wouldn't mind giving it a try. I have been a musician all my life and I play guitar/bass/mando/hand drums. For the last while I have been playing drums and I think I am getting good enough now to play with some other musicians, I like to play with the brushes and so I think that the swing/blues/jazz might work. Let me know if you guys still want to try it out.
