anti-slosh foam balls,anti-explosion plastic beads/mesh/foam stuff

take your pick, they break down over time and cause 90% of the Iltis fuel problems. take them out

wow thats messed up.. I"ve never heard of that b4 with the foam balls..
Im gonna do some research about that ....

I also think that the jeep is gonna be awesome when u are done!! lift it, add some nice tires, a good engine, good suspension and a kick ass rear end, and its goonna be awesome.. I cant wait to see some pictures of your progress!!

A Jeep is not an Iltis. An Iltis is not a Jeep. I was corrected numerous times.
Yeah, those foam balls are for explosion suppression. I have removed them all, because after 25 years they do deteriorate and plug up the fuel lines, etc.

I do hope you have a real car for work.

I do. Hours? I guess it depends on how fast those 17K accumulated. There is no hour meter on this baby.

I am now in the process of taking the body off to replace the floor, which was patched.. and would have passed the safety, but I don't want to have to keep patching.
